1The Challenge
Delta Sigma Pi is Virginia Tech's professional business fraternity, with about 70 members. Getting members to and from chapter events and around town was managed with a spreadsheet. There was no live visibility into rides, no way to collect feedback, and no data for risk management. When something went wrong, the chapter found out after the fact. Safety was reactive rather than proactive.
2The Solution
Delta Sigma Pi first adopted DirectDrive Now as a pilot partner, then purchased a semester package after the pilot. Weekend nights now run with a rotation of 5–8 designated drivers, and weekdays with 1–2, all coordinated in one place.
